David Potts

David Potts, Chief Executive Officer

David Potts heads up the UK operations of Nom Dairy and has over 20 years’ experience in the industry. He joined Nom in 2008 and is responsible for its £60 million, state-of-the-art dairy in Shropshire.
David has been selling yogurt since he was 18 and, over the years, has seen yogurt evolve into a multi-million pound concern – giving him an in-depth knowledge of yogurt making and the latest issues facing the industry.
David has previously held a number of key roles in the industry, including senior positions as Director of Dairy Farmers of Britain Commercial and Sales Director at Müller, where he worked for 17 years, helping to turn the brand into a household name.

Franz Josef Schattleitner

Franz Josef Schattleitner, Managing Director Supply Chain

Franz Josef Schattleitner is Joint Managing Director of Supply Chain Management for Nom Dairy UK. Franz Josef’s responsibility is managing suppliers of incoming materials and services through to the delivery of finished products to our Customers via our external logistics provider.
Forecasting, Purchasing, Material Control, Production Planning, Warehousing and IT are the departments that support this process under his leadership. Franz Josef has more than 15 years’ experience in Supply Chain within key players in the European food sector both in manufacturing and retailer environments. He joined the Austrian parent company, NÖM in 2001 and moved to Nom Dairy UK in June 2009.
